Reach for the Stars Gala: Literacy Edition

The world is filled with millions of stories and the students at DePaul School for Hearing and Speech in Pittsburgh's Shadyside neighborhood can hear them, understand them, and respond to them clearly and with confidence. With access to sound provided by digital hearing aids or cochlear implants and intensive Listening and Spoken Language Education provided by DePaul School's team of experts, children who are deaf or hard of hearing are learning to listen and speak… and they are writing their own success stories one lesson at a time!

We're celebrating our students' hard work and the members of the community who help them write their success stories at this year's 16th Annual Reach for the Stars Gala: Literacy Edition at Heinz Field on Friday, October 25th and we'd love to see (and hear!) you there!

Our exclusive (ticketed) VIP Reception starts at 5:30pm with a general reception following at 6:30pm. 

Meal choices include a delicious Spinach Salad, Dessert Stations, and your choice of: 

- Braised Short Ribs, Balsamic Reduction, paired with Colossal Sea Scallops, Chive Mashed Potatoes, and Vegetable Medley

- Honey Roasted Acorn Squash Quinoa with Brussels Sprouts, Rehydrated Cherries, and Balsamic Reduction (Vegetarian and GF)

- Children's meal including Chicken Fingers and Macaroni and Cheese
